RehaIngest is a portable system for measuring and visualization of laryngeal activity during swallowing. It supports diagnostics in patients with dysphagia, particularly after stroke, traumatic brain injury, cervical spinal cord injury and tumor diseases.RehaIngest is the first system which combines the measurement of electromyography (EMG) and bioimpedance (BI) to provide valuable information about swallowing. The medical device consists of a tablet computer with the RehaIngest software, measuring module, cables and the adhesive measuring electrodes.
