Dr. Samnun F. Taha was born in Dhaka on November 20, 1965 in Bangladesh. He completed his graduation in Bachelor of Medicine & surgery (MBBS) from Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1990.  He completed his post-graduation in General Medicine (M.R.C.P) from Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2000. Later on, he achieved another post-graduation on Geriatric Medicine from Royal College of Physicians, London in 2012.

He underwent formal training on Internal Medicine & Geriatric Medicine from 1991 to 2000 in Bangladesh & UK. He worked as a Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine & ICU in Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital & Central Hospital, Bangladesh from 2000 to 2007. He also served as a Assistant Professor of Medicine in Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College & Associate Professor of Medicine in United Dental College in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dr. Taha launched country’s first Aesthetic Laser Center”Laser Medical Center” and first Anti Aging & Regenerative Medicine clinic called “Ageless Clinic”.

In Geriatric Medicine, he has started a home care service “Home Care BD, Ltd” & an elderly care center called “Goldenage Hospital & Residencies”.

He is executive member of Forum for the Elderly, Bangladesh & founder member of Bangladesh Geriatric Society and Dementia Society of Bangladesh.

Dr. Taha served as a member of Elderly Policy Action Plan Development Committee, Ministry of Social Welfare,GoB.

He is currently involved in development and extension of a rural geriatric health care system in Bangladesh.
